A new Technology Strategy Board scheme is offering funding to small and medium sized enterprises to engage in R&D projects in the strategically important areas of science, engineering and technology from which successful new products and services could emerge.

The last assessment batch date is 1st March 2012 and there are three types of grant available:

  1. Proof of market
  2. Proof of concept
  3. Development of prototype

Any UK SME working across any sector may apply, applications are accepted on a rolling basis for assessment by independent experts.
