The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council have funded a “Challenging Engineering” exploration group, to lead research that develops novel engineering solutions for shared design enquiry. This is part of the Innovative Construction Research Centre.

At the forefront of this work, is Dr Jennifer Whyte of Reading University who won the EPSRC funding as a ” future research leader”.
