Startup Grind Oxford Hosts Dr Colin Story

IET Awards Finalists 2014

The IET Innovation Awards celebrate the very best innovations in science, engineering and technology and the 16 categories span the breadth of the IET’s remit and are judged by a panel of experts in their field. Over 400 entries were submitted to this year’s Innovation Awards, and we are delighted to be one of the five finalists in the shortlist for the Measurement in Action category.

Women with Bright Ideas Competition

On Thursday I had the opportunity to spend the morning as a judge for the Women with Bright Ideas Competition. It was so impressive. Incredibly exciting entries for products that have the potential to change lives for the better. After a Dragons Den style final, where the eight final entries were pitched to the judges, we stretched the decision making time out to the final minute, as we debated and deliberated the merits of each finalist. That was challenging! The effort and commitment that went into each idea was exceptional.

Triteq client announced as finalist for $10million X Prize

SCANurse London-based digital health company, has announced it is one of 10 companies to reach the final stage of the prestigious $10M Qualcomm Tricorder XPRIZEa 3.5-year global competition sponsored by the Qualcomm Foundation for teams to develop a consumer-focused, mobile device capable of diagnosing and interpreting a set of 15 medical conditions and capturing five vital health metrics.
