Britain Leads the Way in Scientific Research

Last month, two professors from Manchester University won the Nobel prize for physics, bringing the total of Nobel prizes for the UK to 118, ahead of China with six and India with four.

Award Winning Connexion 2

Connexion 2 has developed a number of devices with Triteq that look like ID cards. The cards have a panic button on the back which dials a number to a Call Centre where a trained person can listen in record the call and react appropriately whether it is to call the police, colleague or the person with the ID card or just keep listening until the situation has been resolved and record the events that follow. This device has provided lone works that extra bit of security to know that they are not alone
